Hey, do you journal? You want a free one?
For a limited time I'm giving away FREE copies of my guided journal.
Hi!
It’s been a while since I’ve written a newsletter. The reason being, (aside from the rapid succession of depressing current events that have both overwhelmed my thoughts and over-activated my emotions) I left ConvertKit and decided to move over to Substack.
This was both a cost and efficiency decision but I’m also hopeful that it will provide a better newsletter experience because I’m cutting back on automated sequences. Every email you receive from me will have been written live.
I love getting replies from people but it felt so disingenuous to send an email that I wrote 3 years ago and have someone receive it like it was written this week. When I see replies from people, I want it to be around the current conversation and a relevant connection, both for their experience and mine! The recent turn of events in the US has reminded me how much I depend on good connections and healthy relationships, I want more of that.
So welcome to the new and (hopefully!) improved version of The Midday Latte newsletter.
KEY REMINDERS:
You are whole, valid, and worthy. That’s what we focus on here. We are cultivating self-empowerment, building self-trust, and strengthening that inner voice. I am here to help you set boundaries, communicate your needs in healthy ways, and build a network of people who support you in all the ways you deserve. This kind of thing takes work but more importantly it takes community. I hope TML can be that community for you.
Substack offers some features that will allow me to expand on TML’s community, open private chats, share videos, stream podcast episodes, and more. I’m really looking forward to exploring this platform with all of you!
Thank you for being here. After 4 years of building this list, it remains at a >40% open rate. I appreciate those of you who read the newsletter and stay a fan no matter how intermittent and inconsistent I can get with this content. Sending emails 2-3 months after the last and still seeing 40% of you opening them warms my heart and floods my eyes, I’m not kidding. Thank you.
Ok now for the reason you opened this email!
»FREE JOURNAL!! FREE JOURNAL!!«
Yes, friends. I am giving away 15 FREE copies of The Midday Latte’s Self-Care Ritual Guide & Journal. PLUS FREE SHIPPING (anywhere in the contiguous US).
I’m looking to gather reviews for my journal. I want real people giving me their real feedback, but I am specifically looking for people who understand the self-empowerment journey—because that’s who this journal is for—and who better than you?
You, who has stuck by my side all these years, replied to my emails encouraging me right back, thanking me for the words you needed to hear, and letting me know my vulnerability gave you new perspective and strength. Really, who better?
This ritual guide is my pride and joy, all my own journaling habits written into a guided experience, and prompts to help you stay committed and returning.
I created this journal to talk to myself better, kinder, and more realistically, but mostly gentler. Self-trust is not built without compassionate self-talk. When we’ve been spoken to in such harsh ways our whole lives from parents, teachers, partners, coworkers, and other ungentle people, we can develop a harsh tone with ourselves. And it takes practice to unravel that, which is where The Midday Latte’s Self-Care Ritual Guide & Journal comes in.
If you’re interested in receiving a FREE copy in exchange for an honest review, I’d love to send you one.
Email hello@themiddaylatte.com with your name and mailing address
The first 15 people to reach out with a valid USPS address will receive a free copy of TML’s Ritual Guide & Journal and then a follow up email from me in 90 days to check on your experience. That’s it. So if you want one, email me. I look forward to hearing from you!
It was great reconnecting, I’m looking forward to how Substack will contribute to TML’s growth and I’m so happy to have you here with me. Talk again soon.
In warmth and growth,
Joscelyn Kate
